The Hôtel le Sénat is on the Left Bank of
the Seine, right in the heart of Saint Germain
des Prés, one of Paris' most magical areas.
The 6th arrondissement is the birthplace of literature and the arts, with over 100 galleries showing both established names in contemporary art and upcoming artists.
Writers, actors and intellectuals live in the area and meet up in cafes whose names have been established for over a century. Saint-Germain-des-Prés is also known for its luxury boutiques, interior deco shops and food markets. The numerous restaurants, bars and cinemas help give the area a lively feel.
The Hôtel le Sénat is housed in a building dating from the middle of the 19th century, opposite the Jardin du Luxembourg, two minutes from place St Sulpice and the bell tower of Saint-Germain-des-Prés church.
